The Syrian Hamster had a dragging right hind limb

23 October 2019. The Syrian Hamster has dragged her right hind limb. The swollen knee area and a protruding lump were indicative of a right femoral fracture. The hamster had earlier wet tail diarrhoea and an unpleasant smell.

No surgery is possible with this femoral fracture. The owner will wait and see.
