Vancouver Island Marmot Release | 2021

We’re sharing another wild release for today’s #WeeklyWildlifeWonders! This summer, 14 of the Vancouver Island marmots born at the Wildlife Conservation Centre last year were released onto the slopes of Mt. Washington and the Nanaimo Lakes area. Join us as we wish these marmots luck as they contribute to the survival of their Critically Endangered species! ⛰️👋
