Arizona Trail with Marmot and Dread Pirate 2021

In the spring of 2021 13-year-old Marmot and her mom Dread Pirate thru-hiked the Arizona Trail. We hiked all 800 miles contiguously from Mexico to Utah and Marmot was the youngest known kid to complete the trail at the time. Marmot has also thru-hiked the John Muir Trail and the Long Trail with her mom. Dread Pirate has also thru-hiked the Appalachian Trail, Pacific Crest Trail and Continental Divide Trail. She is a Registered Maine Guide, Wilderness First Responder and takes kids into wilderness areas professionally. Every journey starts with a dream, what’s yours?
