Are Hamster Balls SAFE?

Today I talk about whether or not hamster balls are safe to use! Remember just because something is sold in a petstore or made for a hamster does not mean it is safe for them.
Here is the leaflet from the Veterinary Association for Animal Welfare on why hamster balls are dangerous, yes it is in german so you do need to translate it. Its is leaflet No.62- Pet owner ship, animals harming accessories.
