Brachycephalic or Hydrocephalus hamsters are hamsters with genetic skull deformities that affect their teeth, eyes and breathing. It’s caused by poor genetics that are mostly seen with pet store hamsters that come from small animal breeding mills. The family rehoming only had him for a few months for their child before she no longer wanted him. This video will highlight the conditions he was kept in, how severe his condition is and talk more about the increase of brachy hamsters, we’ve seen thus far.
