Star’s reaction to last weeks Budget Hamster Cage Setup: Using Recycled Items.

Last weeks video was all about setting up a cage with recycled items and this weeks video is Star’s reaction to that cage.

As I stated in last weeks video, if this was Star’s permanent cage I would add ventilation, a lid and a lot more bedding.

I wanted to create these videos because I often find myself giving advice on how to add enrichment to hamster enclosures to people who do not have a lot of money, especially children. The idea also cropped up in a conversation with the human from the YouTube channel ‘Road to Ragna’.

The idea was to see if I could create a cage setup using as much free, recycled items as possible because enriching a hamsters life does not always have to cost a fortune. I also wanted to see how much buying the essential items would actually cost.
