Welcome back to a rescue introduction video of new hamsters here at my small mammal rescue I run. Today’s story is about a surrender intake from a loving family who unfortunately couldn’t fit with their “Chinese hamster”. They did the right thing by surrendering to us but to our surprise, it wasn’t a Chinese hamster at all! Learn more about what happened and who Potato the hamster is!
Awareness for proper care needs to be shared. It can easily be accessible online, however google search results don’t always show good care information which ends up misguiding people. While the owners simply “didn’t care” about their hamsters and wanted to profit off of their suffering, not everyone who has bad care is a bad person. SO KEEP THIS IN MIND! They may just need guidance and understanding.
